Course Overview
The WS-050T00: Migrating Application Workloads to Azure course is designed to educate learners on how to move their on-premises applications and workloads to the Azure cloud platform effectively. Course Prerequisites
To ensure that participants can fully benefit from the WS-050T00: Migrating Application Workloads to Azure course, it is important that they meet the following minimum prerequisites:
- Basic understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs, virtual networking, and virtual hard disks.
- Basic understanding of network configuration, including: TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), VPNs, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory concepts, including: domains, forests, domain controllers, replication, Kerberos protocol, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
- Knowledge of resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and restore operations.
- Some experience with Windows PowerShell.
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure, equivalent to the Azure Fundamentals course (AZ-900), including an understanding of Azure’s infrastructure, tools, and portals.
